adding users to encrypted folders is not allowed

When I click on the "details" button near the Encrypt contents to
secure data check box in the advanced property tab of a folder, I get
an error message "adding users to encrypted folders is not allowed". I
have rights with total control on the folder and I am the owner. I can
encrypt and decrypt the folder, but I can't add users. Maybe someone
could help me to fix this ? Thanks

We do not support adding users at the folder level, only the file level
unfortunately.
