Adding two music files on the same slide.

Hi,

I would like to add two music files on the same slide.
One is a background music and the second is my recorded narration.

My requirement - 30 sec slide duration (a 30 sec background music and 30sec
narration simultaneously).

Appreciate your help.

Thanks & Regards,
Eshwar

This may be possible if one or both of the sound files is linked (not embedded)

I would start a sound editing program that can combine two input tracks of
sound and put the background music on one track and the narration on the
other. Create one sound file with both and then import into PPT slide.
Playing two audio files may be possible in PPT but I have never done it that
way. I have always created one .wav file from the two as I have mentioned.

It depends on your hardware, whether your audio card can play two sounds at
the same time. And even if it should work on your computer, there is no
guarantee, that it work on another computer. Combining both in an audio
editing program like the free Audacity is you best option.

And please give it a second thought, whether you really need both.
Background music can be very distracting, if there is narration at the same
time.

Best regards,
Ute

Thanks for the solution.

FYI there is another way which was posted by John from PPT Alchemy.co.uk
