Adding trusted domain users to local admins group

I am having a problem adding users from a trusted domain
to the local admins group on a server on my network. I
can only view the first 10000 objects and when I can
select the object I want to add, I get an error message
that the domain is unavailable or does not exist.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or have a fix?

Can you create a global group in the trusted domain and
try adding that the the local group?
