Adding my e-mail Adress into my home comouter

I am having a lot of trouble trying to figure out how to add my e-mail
address to my computer at home. I run my e-mail through my laptop through
microsoft office outlook, furthermore my computer at home also runs microsoft
office outlook but my mother's e-mail address is the default one. I was
wondering if there was a way to add my e-mail address onto the computer where
my mom runs her e-mail address?
If anyone can help I would really appreciate it, this might be really easy,
however I am still learning how to use a computer.
 
In Outlook, Accounts, add an email account.
You will need the settings provided by your ISP, or your ISP may have a help
page on its site

If the current ISP account on the PC is different to your ISP there are
likely some authentication issues you may have to allow for
