Adding music to slideshow

I have created a power point show and added music top it and created a
slideshow. it works fine on my machine but when i email this slideshow to
someone else than it does not play the music but runs the slideshow. how can
i rectify this or what can I do for this to make it owrk

The music file is only linked to the presentation. When you email it (or
give it on a disk) the PowerPoint presentation AND the musci file must be
included.

If the music is in wav format, you can embed
the music into the presentation. If you are using other format, you can also
try to convert the music into wav format using sound convertor such as Free
CD-DA Extractor 4.8 (
http://www.download.com/Free-CD-DA-Extractor/3000-2140_4-10327914.html ). By
doing so, the music will be embedded
into the presentation (preventing the link from breaking) and you do not
have to email the music.

Alternately for non-wav format,
Create a new folder and move the ppt and music into the folder.
Now, open the ppt file, delete and reinsert the music to create a pathless
link.
Then, save your presentation.
Email both the presentation and music.
