Adding music to slide show

I added a song successfully to the slide show to play as all of the slides
come up automatically. Looks GREAT on my computer! However, when I email it
to other people, all they can see are the slides...no music plays. They can
see the little picture of the sound thing in the corner, but they can't hear
anything. What could the problem be? They do have several different
programs with which to listen to sound files. This particular one is an mp3.
