Adding more buttons to the generic open file dialog box?

Is there a way to add more shortcuts over on the left side to the standard File Open dialog box in XP?

For example, if I'm using Word '03, and I choose File -> Open, the dialog box pops up and on the
left are 5 shortcuts: My Recent Documents, Desktop, My Documents, My Computer, and My Network
Places. I'd like to add one to this list and I want it to show up no matter what application is
using the dialog box.

MS has Common Dialog limited to 5 buttons ... you can chane those to be
whatever you want but it's global (applications all get the same buttons)
and only 5.

Check out File-Ex from www.cottonwoodsw.com. It's free and hooks into the MS
Common Dialog window. Has more options than you probably need and/or
thought of.

Five is it. You can change what five they are, though, using tweakui. Get
it from here:
