In NT and Windows 2000 I could add programs to my send to
folder so when I right clicked, I could send a file to
that program. I have not figured out how to do that with
XP Pro. Can anyone help me?

Now after u add a few in, see what order they appear .
I think it depends on what weather was the day u added
it :) If someone knows how to get them alpha, plz let
me know. I got tired of experimenting.

Thanks- bye- Larry

Any advice given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS. Personal attacks, nitpicking & criticism
of anything but content will NOT be responded to. Those

Since sendto is a folder, the contents will alphabetize like any
other. You can right-click inside the pane "arrange icons by", or
click "name" on the bar with name...type...size.

I keep certain entries on top by putting numbers before their names
(1Any Folder, 2Notepad, etc.).

Hi Miriam,

For some users, after adding them, they don't show up. These run commands
will correct that behavior.

Run these three commands:

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 sendmail.dll
Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32
Go to Start/Run and type in: rundll32 mydocs,PerUserInit

Then go to Windows Explorer\Documents & Settings\User Name\SendTo or
Start/Run/SendTo

Not on my PC- 1st thing I tried. Order when I do rt-clk
doesnt correspond to any way I view SendTo folder. If I
try rt-clk a send-to shortcut(ala Favs), it executes.

Mine were numbered too! I gave up. Maybe when humidity
is lower :) Thanx 4 trying. Larry.
