Adding items to menu bar on left side of 'save' or 'save as' menu

When I am in an application and go to Save it or do a Save As and it brings
up the Save As search window, allowing the user to search for a folder, save,
etc.

On the left there is a menu bar that seems to be static [except that the
size of the icons can be big or small]. It has the following items, and I'd
like to know how to add other items if it's possible:
-- History
-- My Documents
-- Desktop
-- Favorites
-- My Network Places

I'm wondering where there's a place to add anything to this... be it a menu
somewhere like 'send to' or a reg setting or anything.

Thanks for your time and help.

It's called the Places bar.

Use TweakUI, Edit the registry or use System Policy Editor.

[[The common dialog boxes, such as the Save As dialog box, display the

the folders that appear in the places bar by using the Common Dialogs

I don't think if you can have more than 5 different places to choose from in
the Places bar (correct me somebody if I'm wrong), but you CAN change which
5 you want:

Check out "PlacesBar Tweaker 1.0" from ioIsland.com
Freeware of course :o)
