Adding Drivers to Shared Printer

HP 990 series printer is connected to XP Pro machine on
LPT1 but cannot load NT 4.0 driver. What is the issue
between sharing XP and NT 4.0?

Unfortunately, some printer drivers are not packaged by the manufacturer so
that they can be installed as "Additional Drivers". This is quite common
with the ink jet type printers.
