Adding AutoLayout text boxes to the Master Slide

I am trying to add an additional AutoLayouts text box to the Master slide,
but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. When you view the Master, there
are two AutoLayout text boxes provided by default (one for the Slide Title
and one for the actual Content), but what do you do if you want to add one
more for a sub-title for example?

I can add a regular text box, but that doesn't allow me to edit it when
actually building the presentation. Any help on this would be much
appreciated.

Heezo,
You've hit one of the limitations of PPT, you simply can't add placeholders
to the master, sorry.

What Luc said. You can only use the layouts that are given, and not add new
placeholders. To change the layouts, click Format > Slide Layouts.
