Adding addresses to mailing lists

Hi

I often get emails where the sender has to be added to a mailing list (but
not in contacts as a separate entry as I rarely write to these people
indiviudually

Problem is the sender is easy to add to 'contacts' by clicking on their
address and 'add to contacts'.

But I can't find an easy way to add them to 'mailing lists' other than
copying and pasting both the name and email address.

Is there a trick or workaround?
