Adding Additional Mailboxes

I cannot seem to add additional mailboxes for a user in outlook 2003.
normally when I try to add an additional mailbox, The 'Add Mailbox' pop up
appears and you insert the mailbox name and it validates it on the exchange
server but with this instance it doesnt seem to appear. i have tried
reloading outlook 2003 and even creating a new outlook profile for user but
still no luck. everytime i click on the 'add' button i get the following
error 'The name could not be resolved. The action could not be completed'.
The problem is i havent entered the mailbox name but i dont get a choice to
enter it.

any ideas...

i have tried creating new network profile for the user and still cannot add
additional mailboxes but if i log on with anyother network user on the same
client pc then i can add another mailbox in outlook 2003
