Hi,

I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right group, if not, can someone
please tell me where I should post it.

My following question is pretty straight forward, right now we're hosting a
site let's say www.microsoft.com I was asked to add a DNS record for
www.ip.microsoft.com How would I be able to add this record in the DNS
server? What type of record would it be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

J

You would need to create a zone in DNS called "ip.microsoft.com" and then
add the host record for "www" in that zone.
