adding a hotmail internet e-mail account

I had setup Outlook to read my Internet emails provided by my ISP. At work I
setup my account in Outlook to read emails from the company's Exchange
Server. Not until a moment back when I was reading Outlook "help" pages, I
don't realise I could alos set up Outlook to read my hotmail. Is that true?
That is what the help page wrote but can someone confirm me? If true, that
would be nice becaus I could retreive them (emails) and back it up in a CD
(as a pst file).

Then I read on, it says: "If you are setting up an MSN e-mail account, click
POP3 for MSN Internet Access version 5.3 or earlier, for MSN Explorer, click
HTTP".

How could I tell whether the hotmail account I set up ages (more than 8
years) ago is/was an "MSN email account" or "MSN Explorer"?

My understanding of Hotmail is that if you want to download your email into
your email program, you have to pay a fee to Hotmail.

I currently do have an email account set up in my Outlook Express though,
not in my Outlook itself. (Keeps things seperated).
