Open either MyComputer or Explorer > C:\Documents and Settings > All Users folder >
Start Menu > Programs.
Right click in the Right pane and in the popup menu click New > Folder.
Type a name in for the folder and press Enter.
Drag and drop into the folder what you want in it to your hearts content.
Copy/paste is simple, you can do it several different ways.
#1 is the quickest:
Press CTRL+A------This will hilite all
Press CTRL+C------This will copy all that's hilit
Press CTRL+V------This will paste all that was copied
#2:
Press the left mouse button once at the beginning of the folder(s), file(s) or text
to be copied.-----This places the blinking cursor at the beginning of the folder(s),
file(s) or text to be copied.
Move the mouse pointer to the end of the list or text to be copied, press/hold down
the Shift key and left click the last of the folder(s), file(s) or text.-----This
will hilite all of the selected folder(s), file(s) or text to be copied.
Use CTRL+C to copy
Use CTRL+V to paste
#3:
Press/hold down the left mouse button and drag it over the folder(s), file(s) or text
to be copied.-----This will hilite all of the selected folder(s), file(s) or text to
be copied.
Use CTRL+C to copy
Use CTRL+V to paste
#4:
Press/hold down the CTRL key and click on a folder(s), file(s) or text.-----This will
hilite the folder(s), file(s) or text to be copied. It only hilites to the point
where the Enter key was used to begin a new line or paragraph.
Use CTRL+C to copy
Use CTRL+V to paste
#5:
Hilite the folder(s), file(s) or text to be copied in any of the 4 ways explained
above.
Right click once on the page.
Click on Copy in the popup menu.
In the program/application/folder you want to copy the folders, file(s) or text into,
right click and click on Paste in the popup menu.
#6:
In the program/application/folder you want to copy the folders, file(s) or text from,
hilite the folders, file(s) or text to be copied in any of the 4 ways explained
above.
Go to Edit on the menu bar at the top of the program/app and click on Copy.
In the program/application you want to paste the folders, file(s) or text into.
Go to Edit on the menu bar at the top of the program/app and click on Paste.
Pictures/graphics can all be copied/pasted in the same manner. If you ever need to
move text or a graphic in an program/app/document that you created. Cut instead of
Copy. The hotkeys for cut are CTRL+X. Cut is also in the right click popup menu and
in the edit menu. Once Cut, Paste where needed.
