adding a check box

I was asked if it was possible to make a cell into a check box. When you
move the cursor over the box and click, a check mark will appear. Is this
possible? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It is possible to add a form check box on top of a cell and link the two.

Go to View, Toolbars, and select the Forms toolbar.

The toolbar that pops up will have boxes, radio buttons, and check boxes.
Select the check box and click it on the sheet. You can move it where you
want and resize it as needed.

Right click on the box and select form controls (I think) to link the
results to a cell, and there you can do with what you want...
