I've added a 2nd hard drive to my XP system. It doesn't show up with Windows Explorer or My Computer. It does show up from the computer management selection, the function I used to format it. I can open Explorer from here (by selecting the 2nd drive and selecting explore) and it shows up and I can copy files, etc. What do I need to do to get Windows Explorer to recognize it the normal way (right clicking the start menu and selecting Explore)?

Did your bios see the 2nd drive?

go to disk management and hit the rescan disk function then it should work
