addind date stamp

Hi

I am after adding a number to a cell (e6) , it then shades green on the command of adding the number , i have this working already in condittional formatting , i then wish the following cell (f6) to have a date stamp added to it . I then wish that when i shade this cell green (f6) a date stamp will be added to g6 etc .

is this possible ?
