Lexun Backup Solution
Overview:
The Lexun Backup Solution is a Windows application that makes the chore
of backing up and restoring files, and entire hard drives, easier. It
uses the principle of backing up a folder and all folders and files
below it, which I believe users will find easy to use. You cannot
select individual files to backup, only folders, though you can exclude
folders, files, and file extensions from being backed up (use my Daily
Backup Routine located int the Most Popular Tips and Tutorials on my
web site to backup scattered individual files). The Lexun Backup
Solution uses its own backup algorithms to enhance the backup and
restore process. Other features: Compress the backup, usually cutting
its size in half. Backup to and restore from CDs and DVDs, or other
removable media. Backup entire drives and restore them later. Backup as
many folders as you like at one time. View or print a report after each
backup. Backup configurations are saved and can be recalled at any
time. Replace the C: drive with a larger drive and not lose any data.
Schedule backups/restores to run automatically in the background.
Automatically use e-mail to inform any number of recipients of
Backup/Restore completion and possible errors.
