Add send/receive button

How can I add a send/receive button to my toolbar? I did it on another
machine but forgot how to on the new PC. I did not notice this button option
in any o the categories in the tools/commands,

If it's Office 2003 then it is in the Tools/Customise -> Commands Tab and it
is under the Tools category.

Thanks foir your quick response. Yes, it is Outlook 2003. I still do NOT find
it listed under the Tools/Customize, Commands tab/Tools. Lists everything
from Find to COM Add-ins but no Send/receive.

Set up my mail account and then was able to see the "send/receive" buttons.

I am having this problem (NOT FINDING SEND/RECEIVE buttons).

I was REMOTEly using OUTLOOK -- was cut off -- when I returned home, found
these problems:

NO SEND/RECEIVE BUTTONS
RE-ESTABLISHING e-mail accounts did NOTHING to re-ctivate
OPENING "NEW MESSAGE" also fails to activatge a SEND button.

I'm stymied!

I'm having the same problem too! I was using outlook to access hotmail, added
a new pop3 e-mail account to my list and BAM! Same thing!:
NO SEND/RECEIVE BUTTONS
RE-ESTABLISHING e-mail accounts did NOTHING to re-ctivate
OPENING "NEW MESSAGE" also fails to activatge a SEND button.

removing office and reinstalling with upgrade did nothing but carry forward
the problem to OL2003.
I'm still unable to resolve, ISP could not help.

i have a new pc and my husband added micro office home and student 2007 to it
but when i want to send email the send button does not appear and under tool
there are ne account option

Sounds like you haven't activated Office yet.

Note that this Office Suite doesn't come with Outlook. Did you install a
standalone version of Outlook instead?
