add remove programs

my daughter loaded a game, and I can't seem to use add/remove programs to get
rid of it........any secrets to this???
When I click change/remove, the line it's on flashes, but nothing happens
 
See if there is an unistaller in the folder for the game in Program Folders.
Also, insert the cd and see if uninstall is one of the menu items on the
splash screen.

You need to tell us what game you are talking about when you post.
