Add & Remove Programs

Hi,

What does it mean when you see programs on the Add & Remove window that do
not show any files size? Only a few of my programs do not have any file size
showing. What happens when you remove the program without any file size
showing?

Here's another good question. How do I post a question? The button did not
work and the only way I could post anything is to do a reply?

If you look at the entries with no file size you'll see that most of them
are Internet related. In other words they have embedded URL (websites)
that they activate. Deleting them means they will no longer be available
for you to use. A very good example is Shockwave and the Flash player.

The reason you're having such problems is that you are using the web
interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest, clunkiest, most
error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a newsreader,
such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See
