Add/Remove Programs

I recently had to re-format and reinstall Windows 2K and
all programs..... I just recently installed all the
Microsoft updates, and now I find that when I go into my
control Panel, I try to open the Add/Remove Programs, but
it tells me that mshta.exe has generated errors and will be
closed by windows. This didn't happen before... I have the
latest version of Anti-Virus Software and up to date virus
definitions. Full virus scan of the drive and it comes up
clean.....

How can I repair this problem?
