Add/Remove Programs NOT WORKING - Apps listed but can't uninstall

R

Richard Galli

When I open Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel, there is a
large block of empty space at the top; then the list of installed
applications is loaded below.

BUT, the Change and Remove buttons are grayed out on all the
applications. If I click or double-click on any application, the buttons
stay grayed out and are inoperable.

Can anyone tell me how to fix the problem?

The fix for both of your problems can be found here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_a.htm

1. Your "Black" space - "Add or Remove - White Space" same fix.

2.Change/remove buttons greyed out.-Add and Remove - Restrictions

Good Luck.
