add printer

up graded from windows millium to windows XP home edition.
now my HP 710 printer will not work. It's a 3 in one,
pritns, faxs, copy, and scans. I have the Disk that came
with the printer to install it but xp wont allow the disk
to down load. Do I need to go out and buy a new printer?
Please Help..

No, you go to the HP website and download the XP drivers for it. www.hp.com
