Add Printer problem

Using Add printer, I am unable to find the printer driver for my HP
officejet 5510 all in one. It is not in the pre-installed drivers from
Windows XP and when I click "have disk" and point it to the CD, it gives
me the following error. "Windows was unable to find any drivers for
this device....."

The reason I'm attempting to install it this way is because I'm using a
print server with web utility for printing via IPP to connect to the
printer remotely. The software is already installed on my computer but
pointing add printer wizard to the HP/..../drivers folder doesn't work
either.

Does anyone know what to do to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.

When you say you are printing via IPP then there is no need of having printer
driver installed locally on your machine. The printer driver is installed on
the print server and all your request goes through here. And when you say you
are not able to install using Add Printer Wizard, that means either you are
adding it as a local printer or adding it as a network printer on your
machine and therefore in case of local printer, you need to provide the
printer driver for which the wizard is giving you the appropriate prompt. For
you to have a network printer, again you do not need to provide any driver
because it is connected via lan. If you want to have a printer installed on
your local machine, go to HP site and download the particular printer driver
for your printer model and install it as stated in the specifications or via
Add Printer Wizard. All the drivers which needs to be installed via wizard,
needs installation inf file which can only be found from the driver diskkette.
