Add "New" commands to context menu

I would like to add the commands "New Folder" and "New Shortcut" to the
right-click context menu. These are the same commands that are available in
the context menu when you right-click on the desktop. I would like to have
these commands on the context menu for any right-click. Can anyone tell me
how to I do this? If possible, I would like explicit, not vague, instructions
for making registry changes whether directly or with .reg files or scripting.
Or even point me to a web site or book where I can find instructions on how
to do this. Many "Thanks" in advance for any help with this question.

Do a Google search on adding to the context menu - you'll get bunches of
hits.

FYI - the change is made in the registry, which key, right off the top, I
don't remember.
