Add Excel to Word

Is is possible to add an excel file to a word doc. For example, i have a
file, excel1.xls and I make changes to it. I use a word doc as a that uses
the excel sheet in it. Instead of cut and pasting I want to be able to
populate the fields in the excel sheet and these changes would be reflected
in the word doc as well. Thanks in advance.

System: Windows XP
Office: O2K3 SP1

Copy the sheet to the clipboard then edit paste special into Word and check
the 'paste link' box..
