Add CE .NET Emulator to Device List

G

Guest

I have a Compact Framework project that also uses OpenNETCF V1.3. The
devices listed for the project are all Pocket PC Device or Pocket PC 2003
Emulators. I want to add a "Windows CE .Net Emulator" to the list of devices
and create a build using it.

I've spent the day messing around with settings located at
"Tools->Options->Device Tools->Devices" dialog but have still not managed to
add the "Windows CE .NET Emulator". Does somebody know how to add this
emulator to the list or and I going to have to create an entirely new project
and add it during creation. Also is OpenNETCF compatible with a Windows CE
..NET Emulator build?

I susspect that you have PocketPC application. Just create new one as
Windows CE application and you will have Windows CE .NET emulator and
Pocket PC 2003 Emulators in the same list.

Yes, OpenNETCF supports .NET Emulator as well.
