Adaptive AA & 5.12

I just installed the 5.12 driver and did the registry edit to
enable adaptive AA on my 9800XT. The checkbox & dropdown
appeared in my ATi Tray Tool, but they're grey and I can't
change them. The previous driver I used was 5.10 and they
worked ok there. They're grey but "on" all the time, but I'm
not convinced it's operating.

Any ideas?

Didn't you have to have Vsync on to use adaptive AA? Any chance that's
forced off and the driver detects it?

Vsync is on. In fact the Tray Tools profile that used to have
it working, which includes Vsync on, doesn't any mroe. This
time I loaded just the new driver. Up until now I've used the
CP versions of the drivers, so I didn't bother with the CC this
time either. I still have the CP from 5.10 installed and Tray
Tools of course. Could that be the reason why?

I'm not sure if the 5.10 Control Panel can work with the 5.12 core driver
files.
