adaptec 29160 not work in the motrboard asus a8n sli premium

Hello All,

I have an Asus a8N MB. I have updated to the newest Bios and I have
several Adaptec 29160n SCSI cards that work in other systems but I
can't get this system to see it, I get not post screen and XP does not
see it.

It is the only other PCI card in the system and I have tried all the
slots.

Any thoughts? I really need to get my SCSI drive working in this system.

....just a wild thought - I've set a few 29160's and 39160's up in older
machines, but not much in newer ones. If you aren't using the scsi for a
boot drive, you might attempt to disable the scsi card's bios and see what
happens. ...assuming that you can get into the scsi setup.
