AD with being a DC

Is it possible to install AD on a server with making it a
Domain Controller? Is AD only associated with Domain
Controllers?
 
Hi smoszkowicz,

Only the DC's contains AD information. Member servers doesn't hold any AD
information. if AD has to be installed it should be on DC's. Please let me
know if you have any further questions regarding the same.
