AD syncing

Here is the scenario:
1. Using Vmware P2V tools I migrated an Active Directory
DC to a virtual machine. This machine runs DNS.
2. I have been problems with this server now crashing and
would like to remigrate it from the old physical server
which still exists to a virtual machine again. I am
supposing something corrupted in the process.
3. The info on the physical server is 2-3 weeks old, so
once I migrate it again to a new virtual machine it will
be out of date.

What will happen? I have another DC in this domain so
will it transfer the up-to-date info to the new server so
it becomes up-to-date as well?

That's exactly what'll happen. When the old AD comes up, it'll see that the
other DCs USN is much higher, and replicate all changes that have happened
since it's been 'offline'.

Three weeks won't cause any problems.
