ad replication

I can't find anywhere how to have two dcs replicate ad to
another site that is not on the same subnet......i have
68.15.x.x for one dc, and another site is 68.109.x.x. I
bought two seperate services from my isp.Does it have
anything to do with port 135 being shut down due to dcom?
Or do ineed to vpn tunnel to replicate. Every bit of
information tells how to replicate on the lan, but not
across a wan. Do i have to use smtp or can i use ip for
this, and what ports have to be open?

Consider setting up a Site-to-Site VPN and then AD INTERSITE Replication
should take place as scheduled ( by default, every 180 minutes ).
