Replication across subnets

I have two domains in the same forest that are on
different subnets.

For example, Domain A is 10.0.x.x with a mask of
255.255.0.0. Domain B is 10.1.x.x with a mask of
255.255.255.0.

I need these two domains to replicate. They can ping and
access each other's resources, but will not replicate.
Any thoughts? Do I need to hardcode these subnets into AD
somewhere?

Use your domain sites and services mmc to setup the other domain as a site.
Replication will happen less often.. i think its default to 15 mins. If they
were on the same subnet, replication is 5. Also make sure you have FRS
Running.

Okay,

From the forest operations master, I added a new site,
created a subnet and associated it with the site and put
the domain controller for
Domain B into the site. I cannot do anything to AD S&S on
the domain controller of Domain B. (only can view
properites or delegate control). Do I have to make the
changes to both domains?? If so, why can I not create
sites or subnets on domain B?
