Ad-Hoc network unable to share internet connection

I am using two Dell Insprion 1520's. One of them has an internet connection
plugged into the Ethernet Port coming from an ADSL router. I have configured
both laptops using the ad-hoc wizard and all seems to be in order and
Internet Connection Sharing is turned on with both Laptops. All public
file-sharing works without error however I am unable to get the 2nd Laptop to
connect to the internet. In the Network Control Panel, I have two networks
that appear. The ''Local Area Connection'' which shows access as being 'Local
and Internet'. The other is 'Wireless Network Connection'which only shows
access as being 'Local Only'. I don't understand because on the LAN Connected
Laptop, I have ticked the box that says ''Allow another computer to connect
to the internet thru this computer.

I gave Dell over four grand for these two computers and they refuse to help
me as I don't appear to have a 'Technical Fault' and I would really
appreciate any help I can get with this.

Many Thanks
