AD/Exchange problem

I am using my domain admin account and for some reason I cant expand the
members of a mail enabled security group. There is nothing special done to
the group. The error is 'cannot perform the requested operation. The
command selected is not valid for this recipient. There was an error while
expanding the list. The list was not fully expanded.' I am not sure if
this is an AD thing or exchange.

This is an AD issue. Where are you getting this message?

Is DNS setup properly on the client and exchange server? Is this a
multidomain environment? If so, what is the scope of the group? Does it
contain users from multiple domains?
