Ad-aware Update Freezes

Tried updating Ad-aware 6.0 today. Standard box came up indicating new
reference-file available. Tried upgrading but Webupdate froze at 5%. Tried
again and noticed NEW file was: Build 000001 26.10.2002, Date:26.10.2002.
Anyone know if this is just a typo or temporary problem with update or is
this Lavasoft's "friendly" way of saying I need to upgrade to SE?

They are no longer supporting version 6.0 as of yesterday, I believe. I do
have a link somewhere for places to download version 1.03 rather than 1.05,
which does cause some people grief....particularly freezing.

OK......try these two, courtesy of Silj. These are for those that v.1.05
freezes up on. Should be 1.03......but beware of 1.04 coz it froze up too.

I found exact the same thing yesterday. I download Ad-Aware SE 1.05,
install it and now it works.

I've read some threads in other groups about this problem. The apparent
workaround is to manually install the new reference files. On this page:
http://www.lavasoft.de/ in the "MORE INFO" panel on the right, click on
the "Ad-Aware 6 build 181" link to manually download the newest reference
file, dated 26/10/2004. The direct link is:
http://updates.ls-servers.com/reflist.zip I have not done this yet
myself- my reference file is dated 24/10/2004.
