Ad-aware - still Freeware?

Is Lavasoft's Ad-aware still free? I can't tell from the site because it
says
Free Download but there is Click to Buy button right next to it. I'm still
using Ad-aware 6.0 personal and wanted to see if my friend could download it
too.

If it is no longer freeware, which Spyware remover would you recommend?

Ad-Aware Personal is still freeware, but they of course also promote their
Enterprise and Professional versions. Hence the Buy buttons...

Actually, I think most of us use more than one adware remover.

Personally I use Ad-Aware, but also:

SpyBot S&D

...complemented with

SpywareBlaster
