Ad-Aware in dual boot system

I have a dual boot system with Win98 E and WinXP Pro.
I currently have Ad-Aware SE installed on the C .
When I went to install Ad-Aware on the D drive with WinXP I was cautioned of
the possibility of not running properly due to being installed on another
drive and given the option of removing the previous installation ar
ignoring.

Shouln't I have Ad-Aware installed on both partitions?

Yes, it should be installed for both OSs.

No..........you should have it installed under both Operating Systems but it
can be the same installation .
As a matter of fact since you are dual booting this can apply to a lot of
programs....the exceptions are program that only run under one of the
Operating systems and not the other.

Not really. In multi-booting systems it's a bad idea to
share applications. Each OS should be installed on its
own drive and have its own application folders. If you
break this recommendation then you're likely to get
into trouble.
