Hi,

I would like to make basic (users, groups, DLs, ...) administration of my AD
via a Web Interface. I am far away from the site, and only have a reverse
proxy to publish applications (no VPN, TSE, ..)

Are you aware of such product ?

My AD/Exchange is 2003.

Thanks for the advice ;-)

Regards.

If you are willing to spend $$$ you could look at Lieberman's User Manager
Pro. They are too expensive for us though.

I don't know any such solution available on the web but .. I don't know
how much You are familiar with VBscrip and ASP or ASP .NET and
programing using DIrectoryServices namespace but such solution is quite
easy to develop - you will find a lot of examples on the web and e-mail
group like ADSIANDDirectoryServices on Yahoo will be extremlly useful
with it

I know this doesn't help you now, but I've been writing an open
source web based AD manager to put out on sourceforge. It won't be
ready for a few more months though. Check there maybe in
October/November.

I would be interested in that. I am working on HTAs at the moment ( time
permitting ) and find these to be wonderful for the user account object
creation ( populating the fields, group membership, etc. ). It can also
create the mailbox for the user account object. However, there are a lot of
other things that need to be done as well.

I would really like to be doing this with VB.NET/ASP.NET or C++/ASP.NET.
Just have not had the time yet....and with a little one and another on the
way that situation is not likely to change soon. Take a couple of hours
here and there!
