ActiveX issue

I need to install an unsigned active x control but neither my Vista or my XP
machine will allow me to do that, even though I click 'continue' and
'install'. It just will not allow me to install. I am running IE as
administrator and I have tried adjusting my security settings...to no avail.
This is for a web site that remotely monitors security cameras and I need to
be able to access that site. Thanks for any help you can give me.
 
You need to lower the security for that site to be able to install unsigned
ActiveX. Certainly not recommended for any Internet Sites. From Tools ->
Internet Options, go to the Security tab and add this site to your Trusted
Sites and lower the security to Low.
