ActiveX error

When i attempt to add text in a memo field to a new record
in a subform, i get the following error message.

"A problem occured while microsoft access was
communicating with the OLE Server or ActiveX Control.
Close the OLE Server and restart outside of access."

I can just click "Ok" in response to this and i am able to
add text, but it's a pain to have to do that everytime.
Any help on fixing this would be really great. thanks,

This sounds like a references issue. See:

Particularly, look for anything marked "MISSING", and try re-registering the
DAO library.
