Help!...Combo box error message

Hello,

I created a simple database in Access 2003 and have a data entry form with
a subform. I have a two combo boxes I'm using and each time I initiate the
first cbo I get this message...

"A problem occurred while Microsoft Office Access was communicating with
the OLE server or ActiveX Control. Close the OLE server and restart it
outside of the Microsoft Office Access. Then try the original operation
again in Microsoft Office Access."

I have created multiple forms in Access 2000 with several subforms and
combo boxes and have never had this problem occur.

Please help, as I am on a deadline to complete this task.

It seems like the form or subform are corrupted, I hope you have a backup,
you may need to recreate those forms if compact and repair do not fix the
problem,
