Activesync Birthday dates are 1 day off, how come?

When synchronzing Contacts with my PDA the birthday dates of the contacts are
1 day behind compared to outlook. My agenda is synchronizing with the correct
dates and times, so it isn't the timezone settings I guess.
Does any one know how to solve this?

Daylight saving time discrepancy, perhaps?
