I can not get outlook 2003 to sync with my calendar, it will sync my mail and
Favorites.
I check the setting and it is setup to sync my calendar. I get a error
message that Outlook is no loner installed, activsync can not continue to
run. reinstall outlook to continue synchronization. I don't know what to try,
it knows outlook is there because it will sync the email and favorites. Any
Ideas?
Thanks

I'd first try deleting the partnership and recreating it.

What do you mean by partnership?

That's what you created when you first connected your PDA with Activesync.
With the PDA uncradled, open ActiveSync and click FIle>Delete Partnership.
The recradle your PDA and let it create a new one.

"delete partnership" is not an option on activesync, either when cradled or
uncradled. ??? Error message DEV_9 ???

With no PDA cradled, the File menu for ActiveSync V3.8 (and V3.7, I believe)
should contain

Synchronize (gray)
Stop (gray)

Yes, I have the contents you describe. I have version 3.8.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled ActiveSync twice with the same result.

I believe it is on my Pocket PC, since it did the same thing on another
computer -- and that computer is properly syncing with the unit belonging to
it's owner.

You told me in your last message that there was no "Delete Partnership" menu
item. Now you say you have the same menu as I. It can't be both, since my
list clearly contains a "Delete Partnership" item.

What type and model of PDA do you have? Have you asked in the
microsoft.public.pocketpc or microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync
newsgroups?

1. I have no "Delete Parnership"when I cradle it, only when uncradled.

2. I have a 2002 version.

3. I was not aware of this newsgroup. Thank you!

Of course. That's that I originally said. Look:

2. I have a 2002 version.

That doesn't tell me much about the PDA. Do you mean it's a Pocket PC 2002
model? Is it an iPAQ, an Axim, what?

I was under the impression this posting was concerning the Pocket PC. Sorry.
