Active X Controls

There appears to be a general recommendation from most reliable sources to
disable Active X Controls to prevent 'hacking'. The options are 'enable',
'prompt' and 'disable'. The 'prompt' option seems to give a choice to
accept Active X Controls from known friendly sources. Is there any risk by
selecting 'prompt' instead of 'disable'?

Hi,
"Prompt" should be as safe as "disable" as long as you read the dialog and
decide that you actually trust the site and that the active content is
necessary. Many times it's just related to ads the site wants to load.
