active x controls

Recently I have been getting a pop up box that states
your current security settings prohibit running active X
controls on this page. I have not been able to open many
sites, Can someone offer some help

This is an Internet Explorer issue, not an XP admin issue.
You need to adjust the security settings for the internet
zone if you do not like the popup

Stop this! there must be over a dozen reports with the
exact same issue, most of us have already changed the
security level to low and also included trusted sites but
still have the same problem. IS someone going to address
this problem!!

I had the same problem try this:

Go to start/run
Type in: regsvr32 softpub.dll

way to find expert advise on IE issues.
