active x control problem

Curt

I open an e-mail then close it later after others have been read quite often
when reopening I get message this has activex controls and cannot be
displayed in the window. If I close outlook and reopen then this does not
happen. It only comes about during use. Also does not happen all the time. It
then applies the control to all e-mails Ido have a good anti virus program
running.
Anyone have an idea.
Thanks

am Useing office 2000. no attachments also all of my e-mails are from secure
soruces so I do not expect a problem coming in with them from the sender.
Unless something can happen in route. I open one then go to another then when
I come back to the first one is when it happens. Also does not happen all of
the time. This why it stumps me if I close outlook and come back and open the
same e-mail all is ok. will be looking at the sites you posted
Thanks
